Purpose
Promoting mutual understandings of law, culture and tradition, sharing knowledges of legal information,and colaborating and developing networkings among law students from Asian Countries by way of cross-cultural exchanges and dialogues.
Eligible students
Undergraduate students with high level of English language proficiency.
Number of participants from partner universities
Nagoya University Graduate School and School of Law invites three students and one instructors respectively from the Royal University of Law and Economics, Cambodia, the Ho Chi Minh City Law University, Vietnam and the Tashkent Statenstitute of Law, Uzbekistan to this International University Exchange Seminar, held at Nagoya University, based on the Academic Agreement between respective universities.
Schedule
Saturday 17th September to Friday 30th September 2005 for 14 days:
During this period, we will hold seminars with specific themes. Also, students from respective universities will organize workshops with an aim to deepening mutual understandings and friendships. In addition, study trips to the Nagoya High Court, Bar Association, and Toyota Automobile Company will be offered. Plus, we are planning to visit traditional ISE Shrine to explore Japanese culture.
Residence
Students will stay at a dormitory for students located next to our university and instructors will stay at a university-hotel on campus during the seminar. In addition, a home-stay program will be offered at the first stage of the program.
Fees
Round-trip airfares and other expenses for participating students and professors during their stay in Japan will be covered by the Mizuho International Foundation.
